The 2018 edition of the G-BETS Algoa Cup took place in Port Elizabeth’s Fairview race course on Sunday 28 October 2018.
The event was well attended by the local Eastern Cape horse racing fraternity as well a host of enthusiastic supporters who certainly showed up for the party!
Being the first time G-BETS has put its name behind such a big event on the South African horse racing calendar, the nerves on race day were evident on many of our faces. Fortunately our partners in Phumelela were incredible hosts and made the G-BETS team and our most valued horse racing customers feel well at home.
Overall, the 2018 G-BETS Algoa Cup was a huge success and many in attendance as well as our very own customers were mightily impressed at how little known G-BETS was backing such a magnificently organised event. There were also many enquiries about “who is G-BETS” and we were happy to tell them our story and what we stand for as part of the Goldrush Gaming Group.
